Mechanics
1. The event is open to any car/motor model/type.
- There are multiple categories in which car, hopper, or scooter owners may join.
- In addition, special awards for People’s Choice, Sorority’s Choice and Best Looking Driver shall be given to the entries that will receive the most number of votes cast by the spectators and by the sorority sisters. The Safe Ride citation by Senator Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. shall be given to the two wheeler vehicle with characteristics exercising clear compliance to road safety. An award for the Best Car/ Motor Club shall also be given to the group with the most number of entries.
3. Entries will be judged according to the criteria set by the sorority using a 1-10 point system. The entry that gets the highest number of points shall be proclaimed winner. The sorority will tabulate under the supervision of the judges using standardized judging sheets, the digits after which shall be entered in the computer.
4. A cash prize, trophy, certificate of award, car accessories, gift certificates and special freebies shall be awarded to two (2) winners per category (Champion and a Runner-Up).Some of the sponsors may give special awards. However, the sorority shall make no claims in this matter for it is the sponsors’ discretion and option.
5. The winners shall be announced during the awarding ceremonies to be held in the main event of the UPLB February Fair at 10:00 PM.
Transparency in judging will be observed in this competition. The scores given by the judges will be flashed in the wide screen, however, the name of the judges shall not be identified. Members of the Sorority SHALL NOT serve as judges.
